Mary's Story
I always wanted to be a flying trapeze artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were right.
If I'm going to work, I need to have a good night's sleep, a strong back, and a martini to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything. My dream home would be a house on a cliff overlooking the Pacific in San Diego, CA
I've worked as an interior designer, an RN, and now as a real estate developer. I think I have enough college credits numerically to have at least a Master's, but have only 2 A...Expand for more
ssociate's since I have "interest ADD". I'd like to pursue college courses in horticulture and/or historic preservation - so many choices, YIKES, so little time.
My current age is 60. When I was 12, I thought that was inconceiveable. Now I want to live to be 120.
If I could do it over again, I'd like to have been born in my daughters' generation (or been much more unorthodox) in order to have more career opportunities. I would like to have been an architect.
In 10 years (mercifully less) I hope to be living in that house in San Diego. Maybe I'll even design and build it myself!
