Mary's Story
I go by Lawanna, Mary is my first name.I married in August of 1968. Moved to Michigan. Two children, Frankie,boy and a girl Marcie, and divorce in 10 years. Married the second time 5 years had a girl.Lived in Landover Maryland. Widowed. Married again Moved to N.C. He was in the Army at Fort Bragg,N.C. Moved to Germany for a while and traveled all over Europe. We retired from service. We moved to Devine, Texas(Which is outside of San Antonia,Tx) Buildt Our house and settled in. My Dad had a stroke 2004 he is doing well and Mother had a mini stroke this passed summer. I moved up from Texas to take care of them. After getting Dady on his feet. I take him to as many Antique Car Shows as he wants to go too. I had to learn how to drive a 1910 Haynes, right-hand drive. It doesn't drive like most automobiles do. The Cranking is the hardest for me. So I crank it like the old Scooters did. It took me 5 hours to learn. Of course, Dady 90 years young and Mother ...Expand for more

Oldest Daughter,Marcie and Son,Frankie live in Mich. Daughter has two daughters. As of this summer I have a great grandson. My son has a son. Youngest daughter,LaWana is still going to college.Not married as we speak, hopes to finish this coming spring.I have worked as a Supervisor,for Army,AirForceExchange both in the States and in Germany. Became a School bus driver I thought that would be fun it was...a teacher of 7th,8th,9th graders for a year.That was as much as I could handle.If I teach again it will be for K-3rd ONLY! I live in Charles County. Work for College of Southern. I enjoy every minute. I have taken classes for fun at the college Ceramics and Art. I enjoy the Art the best. When we were in Germany I took so many photos I have tried to draw them from the pictures.That is why I took up Drawing Art. I enjoy my 3 dogs and 3 cats. I think that brings us up to date. Don't figure on retiring any time soon.
