Mary's Story
April 2011
In February this year I went to South Africa. It was a very fun trip. Since this site has changed and we can not see who has taken an interest I figure it might be a good idea to let you know how to contact me so at yahoo you can find me at sierrafox300. While in Johannesburg, I visited with friends and went with one friend to Hartbeesport Dam and went out on a boat.
November 2010
For my 65th Birthday, which I celebrated a little more than a week late on Nov. 3, I had a party at a restaurant on 3rd St Promenade, in Santa Monica, CA called the Cabo Cantina. As I was driving there at 6 PM the sun was just setting over the Pacific Ocean. The temperature was amazingly warm...I didn't even need a sweater all evening. I decorated the upstairs loft dining area with pink tableclothes, helium balloons and other festive items hanging from the ceiling and around the walls. I put the 35 little cakes and the one big round layer cake that I had made in the refrigerator. The cake was made from only the following ingredients: cocoa, agave, coconut oil and avocado. I didn't have even a crumb left after the 40 people that I had invited sang 'Happy Birthday' to me, ate their tacos, burritos and other Mexican food. Then we all went to the Premier of the new movie that I have a role in called 'Nude Nuns with big Guns.' No it is not a porno, but it is a blood and boobs movie and a great drama that the industry calls 'grindhouse.' It is funny and dramatic. Some people will LOVE it, some will be disgusted. But that's show biz! We all left the Laemmle Theater at midnight and it was still warm outside. What a beautiful day! (The movie will be out this coming summer for the USA. It will be showing in other countries starting in December.)
That picture of me with Jack LaLane was taken a year ago at Jack's 95th birthday celebration.
April 2010
I started going out on auditions for parts in film and TV. I decided it was time to 'chop the wood' as I had studied various phases of acting for more than 10 years. So I had a part a couple of weeks ago in a movie called "Cheerleader Camp" which is a comedy put out by Asylum Productions and will be available starting July 27, 2010. Great movie-if you like cheerleaders! Then last week I did a bit in a Promo for the HBO episodic TV show called "Hung." That was fun. I met a lot of nice people and was on top of Thomas Jane...they only make you LOOK naked. Ah, the magic of the screen!
Life is interesting! And fun!
Life
I love to laugh and enjoy life! ...Note: My photo was taken in September 2009 when I crashed Jack LaLanne's 95th birthday party (that is the guy in the picture.)

imbabwe, Zambia and Botswana as well. This was the best vacation of my life even though I went alone. I did not take any tours but I went to several Safari lodges in Botswana and went out on the safari drives and saw hundreds of animals including elephants, zebras, giraffes, a side-striped jackal, 4 lions, and more. The only worry is that the vehicle that you ride in is open...no doors or windows. What a wonderful adventure driving alone through Botswana and Zimbabwe! Luckily, I had 4-wheel drive because when I drove from one safari lodge to the next there were no other cars on the road (which had grass growing in the middle) and was so sandy in places that my vehicle came to a dead stop until I shifted into 4-wheel drive.
At home I get enjoyment through music, playing the piano, writing music, dancing and singing; and through adventure in the form of travel to exotic, wonderful places and have been to every continent except Antarctica. In 2003 I had a balloon ride in Italy, skied cross country (20 miles) in Estonia and scuba dived in Fiji. In 2004, I went to Hong Kong by myself; went on the aerial tram through the rain forest in Costa Rica; saw Stone Henge in England; hiked in Switzerland and Austria; flew a glider in both Germany and Argentina; and celebrated the 4th of July in Maui. In 2005 while in Australia I flew a glider in Alice Springs. 2006-07 I went to Jamaica and also to Bali in Indonesia by myself. Life is GREAT!!
I want to go on a safari in Kenya or near there. Photography is one of my hobbies. Another is learning to fly a glider plane. I have not yet soloed but I have flown 144 supervised flights. I love to hike and one of my pictures shows me doing just that in New Zealand. I love to ride horseback and may do more of it.
After high school I went to Drexel in Philadelphia and studied business administration. Then got married to a Marine. After 5 years we divorced. Then in 1981 I began Chiropractic college in Los Angeles and graduated in 1984. I opened my first chiropractic office in 1985. Now I am semi-retired, travel and manage a 4-plex in L.A.
From 2001 to 2006 I was Steve Fossett's girlfriend. It was an exciting life to be part of his sailing and flying projects. He was an avid hiker and we hiked in many countries as well as cross-country skied.
I would really like to find a new partner to share all this fun with.
My Kids
I just recently found Susan after not seeing her for 33 years. When she was 2 I relinquished her to adoption because I was not married and I wanted her to have a wonderful life. She is an RN and so is my youngest daughter, Anne who specializes as an Anesthetist. The middle daughter, Jennifer, is a teacher. I have eight grandchildren.
