Life
I am an attorney working in Jackson, Mississippi, as Editor of Opinions for the Mississippi Supreme Court. I have a son, Andy Rainey, who graduated from the University of Alabama in 1999 and is now employed as Web Communications Director for the University of Alabama. He got married Sept. 20, 2008, to Cathy Shaw. n worked in public relations for BellSouth for 10 years. In 1992, I was transferred to Mississippi by BellSouth and then five years later took early retirement and went to law school, graduating in 1999. I'm now loving my new career as a lawyer! I was divorced many years ago, and am remarried to Hugh Easley, a Mississippi State grad from the Starkville area. My father died on May 20, 2008, and my mom passed away on July 8, 2009. I have two grandsons, Nathan and Noah Rainey.
