Mary's Story
My short story
After graduation I worked in a family owned automobile business. My job was cars, my passion was horses.
In 1983, after my father's death, my mother and I owned and operated the business together until I retired in 1990. We sold the business to my brother in 1995. ther in 2013 until he sold the business in 2015. I still live on our farm in southern Fauquier County with my husband, 3 Great Pyrenees dogs, old retired horses, chickens and stinky goats. I occasionally work with horses but most of my time is spent doing ceramics (a proper old lady pass time). I am also very active in my church. I have a daughter who lives in Richmond, a son in Tucson and 2 step daughters in SW VA. Life is good.
