Mary Kay's Story
Life
I own and operate my own on-line business combining my love of creative design and antiques for almost 15 years now-eBay and other shopping websites have helped me bring my online sales international.
Ann Filley (Lacay) and I met up on classmates.com over 2 years ago and spend quite a bit of time together.
She owns a boat docked up in New Buffalo so her and I spend time up there in the summer. Just the girls hanging out - quite a treat!
Married since 1979 to Rick Barth who graduated from Jackson in 1968 -
We have two daughters Angie lives in Ohio and Sarah who is in town.
Angie and Dan have given us 3 grand daughters and Sarah and Derek are having our first grandson in May of '09.

max and always needs a 'few' more things.
We enjoy riding and we enjoy traveling mostly to Arizona, Las Vegas, Long Beach, CA and visiting family who are in Texas, Georgia and Illinois but my love is anywhere out west-in the mountains although we are determined to make it to the Bahamas,Hawaii and Greece.
I also try and do as much volunteer work as I can mostly with children as they are our future - I worked for SBCSC with elementary students after working for Notre Dame; finally deciding I can do more for others working in my own business.
The only thing I can add is to all who read this is:
Take a moment and help someone else - a kind gesture goes a long way - if we do not become active in the society in which we live then we will live in the society that has been created for us...
