I recently retired as a nursing instructor. I practiced nursing for 30 years, first as ICU/Trauma, then went into Hospice. I finally became weary of working long shifts, and all the nights, weekends, holidays, etc, so I went into teaching. I taught in the nursing programs at UW Oshkosh, Mid-State Technical College, and Rasmussen over the last 9 or so years. Even though I'm now retired and love my life, I still miss nursing, all the students and my patients.. Guess it never leaves, so I've heard.......However, from time to time I still do some editing work on medical and nursing textbooks for McGraw-Hill. Keeps ...Expand for more
