Mary's Story

Sandy, Sorry about the delay. Busy working etc. Yes, I sat next to you. I did have a tudor, so I could finish High School. I then got married, moved to San Antonio, for three years. Returning to Minneapolis I worked for 7-Eleven Stores for thirteen years. The best job, worked in the district office. I had ten stores, did accounting, payroll, audits etc. Also trained New Managers, regarding accounting etc. Traveled to help out when other locations were experiencing a shortage of staff. The job came to an end, 1000 stores nationwide were sold, yes, Minnesota 65 stores gone. I then went on to work for Donnelly Stucco, I really enjoyed working for a small business. Did everything from answering phones, to job costing. Donnelly started experiencing some well... money issues. I quit and moved on to Fairview Hospital. I work in Supply Chain. I work with purchas...Expand for more
e orders. Pay some of the bills, do research regarding contracts(pricing issues) work with our Purchasing Specialists, and Vendors. I was a single Mom from 1985-2002. I have a daughter 37 and son 31. We lived in Ramsey, for 22 years. Thats a city north of Anoka. I have two Grand daughters, 8 and 5. I was remarried in 2002. Sold my house to my son. Dan, my new husband and I purchased a home in Tonka Bay, located near Excelsior. Its a great location. We have a boat, looking forward to summer. I use to talk, write to Dicy. I think it was 1990 the last time I saw her. Dicy is my daughters Godmother too. We lost contact, totally my fault. I have no idea who this Russ Mcgee is, I see that he signed in, on the guestbook. Do you know who he is? Well enough of my babling, what do you do? And where do you live? ETc? Keep in touch, Mary Larsen Hales

Upon our arrival from Florida, we were greeted by this beauty.
I have never seen this tree look so beautiful.
The deer stayed away this year.
My granddaughter Ally, and her dog Louie. Louie was excited to have skied but he decided it's not for me.
I purchased this beautiful fish planter in Tarpon Springs.

My friend Arline, gave me some clippings from her garden. Arline passed this past year. But I can look outside and see Arlines smile, and hear her laughter.

The girls picked out this blanket for Duchess. She loves her blanket, and takes up too much bed.

The gamblers, End result Liv $10.50, Ally. $3.00
Mary. $72.00, I won on a long shot. I only bet 2.00, if I had bet 10-20. A much better profit.
