Mary Minshall:  

My name was Mary C. Lewis - I was in the 10th grade at Cooney High - - with the 'future class of 1964'..... We moved to Oconomowoc early summer of 1961.... and met a few 'kids' before school started. My brother, Richard Lewis was in the 9th grade class - and was really close to 'the Keepman twins...' My best freinds became Kathy Jensen - and Kay Ernst - I had to move back to Ohio in February '62 - sad times. We moved back 'on the train'.... and some classmates had a surprise slumber party for me and gave me a purse for going away present. I loved the high school and loved the charm of Oconomowoc - my mother had many cousins in the area as one of her Uncles settled there. My dad was a fisherman - and was captured by all the lakes in the area. I had many class pictures sent to me when we moved - and then 'my purse was stolen'..... Kay and Kathy - picked up the Year Book I had ordered and had each class pass it around for 'kids to sign'.... it was very touching and I have treasured it for years.... I know most of you by your picture - as I have turned the pages of time - and wonderful memories over the years.... it tore my heart out to leave and my brother still talks about living there - and fun we had. I am now 'Mary C. Minshall' - married my 'blind date from New Year's Day - 1966..... he was home from the army - and girlfriend arranged the 'date'.... we have 2 daughters and one son. ( - born in '72 - '83 and '85 - "two separate families' - 'same Daddy' haha.... I still live withing 10 miles of all my roots in Marysville, OH - - I graduated with the classmates I had since kindergarten - - and there are 20 plus of us get together every other Wed. to go out to eat... all year long.... for last 8 at least.... Our 50th Class Reunion started with the fall of 1963 - Home Coming parade - tailgate - next night - and game - and sock hop and Karioke.....
