Mary's Story
Life
12/29/07: I have been married for 13 years and have 2 beautiful children ages 6 and 10. I live in Ashville, Alabama and work for a 2 man lawfirm in Birmingham. My husband is an areospace engineer who currently works for his father's computer company. My children Ben (10) and Anna Grace (6) both attend a private school in Birmingham for gifted children.
Many of you who remain in Tuscaloosa may know that my sister Anne returned to Tuscaloosa to practice cardiology and works with Cardiology Associates.
My brother Al is the senior partner/managing partner of a law firm in Tuscaloosa. His wife Linda, unfortunately, is a diabetic and has had numerous health-related problems including loss of sight. They have three children: Albert, age 24 (currently attending the University of Alabama School of Law); Mary Lane, age 22 (also attending the University of Alabama School of Law)and Clifton, age 20 (attending the University of Alabama).
My sister Sue is divorced and works for Medical Center East in Birmingham as a Registered Nurse. She has two children, Mary Nell (a j...Expand for more

My brother Clifton is a robotic cardiovascular surgeon who practices in Sarasota, Florida. He is married to Anne Peeler and they have three children: Sara (who just graduated from the University of Alabama and married on this date a Cullman boy named Lee Haynes); Clifton, Jr. (a highschool senior - and yes, both of my brothers named a son Cliften) and Elizabeth (a highschool soph.).
My youngest sister, Laura has been clerking for a federal magistrate since completing law school in 1986. She is married to Michael Youngpeter who was just appointed by the governor to be a circuit court judge in Mobile County. They have 4 children: Matthew (a highschool junior); Jennifer (a highschool soph. and a star athlete); Chris (a junior high student) and Rachel (a sixth grader).
My mother just turned 83 and still continues to outrun us all and I hope she continues to do so for another 20 years.
