Mary Lu Gilmore:  

I worked as an executive secretary since high school. I divorced my first husband in 1970 and married Gene Gilmore in 1971. We moved from Calif to Oklahoma in Sept 1975. Never regretted the move. People here are wonderful! I attended 2 yrs at Pasadena Nazarene College (now Point Loma in San Diego). Finished my college at So. Nazarene University in Bethany, OK in 2002. I had 3 sons by my first marriage. I now have 16 grandkids and 2 great grandkids. Most are in Montana or Pennsylvania, but my youngest lives 2 hrs from me in Okla City, OK. I earned my CPS (Certified Professional Secretary) ranking in 1987--after taking the 2-day, 6-part test in one sitting. --I volunteered for 3 yrs as a CASA Volunteer. (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for an abused or neglected child. My case ended well. --I have been a Mentor to a 15 yr old girl (large girl)--this is our 6th year.
