Mary's Story

It's going on 50 years since we graduated, and I so wish we'd plan a reunion. My husband Bill Waight and I live in Westminster, MA and have a 25-year old daughter and 29 year-old son, both living in Boston. I graduated from Merrimack College and Northeastern University, taught English at Lawrence High and was assistant principal there. from which I retired in 2006 as associate superintendent. Along the way I earned my doctorate. I loved my career, but I loved my family, life more. Believe it or not I reunited with Sr. Eleanor Rose and Sr. Rita of the Sacred Heart (Mary Anderson), and in my more mature years grew to appreciate all that the sisters gave us, taught us.
