Kathy's Story
Hey there...I'm Kathy Morgan Lorenz. After High School I married my Navy guy Wayne, Jan 21, 1967.. We've been married 42 years now. We have 2 grown daughters. Kristy is a civil engineer and works for the North Carolina DOT.She lives in Greensboro, NC. Becka is a 5th grade teacher at a year round school, out side of Charlotte. After having my girls, I went back to school and got my Nursing Degree. I was a RN for 25 years. Pediatrics for 13 years and Surgery for the last 12. WAyne spent 22 years in service and we lived in such great places and met wonderful people, Hawaii, Florida, Wash DC, Recruiting in Wisc, (ok, not so great...COLD!!) Virginia, South Dakota Black Hills, and when he retired we moved to lovely North Carolina to take care of my dad and just stayed.It was a great place to raise our girls. In 2003 we retired early and moved to the North Carolina coast. We're 5 miles from the ocean, right at the NC-SC border. We have one darling granddaughter, Delaney. Spend most of our time on the road to see the girls. Both are in NC, thank God. I love to read and am very active in teaching a Bible study on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. nate to take 3-4 trips a year, since we retired. My most memorable was 5 weeks out in the North west and an Alaskan cruise and a trip with church to Greece & Turkey. Being on the coast here, we have been able to take advantage of several cruises too. I've recently gotten hooked up with this site and hope to hear from some of you!!

UPDATE:
In March 2010 we deided to put our home up for sale and move in with our daughter Kristy. Sounds weird, but is working out very well. She sold her townhome and bought a HUGH home in the country, Basically she has the upstairs 1400 sq, ft and we have the lower 1400 sq ft. I'm watching my granddaughter , which is my delight. Wayne's super busy landscaping, building shed, maintaining the pool etc. Long story, but God has lead us here and all the bumps along the way have all worked out except for our selling our home at the beach. You know how the housing market is....say a prayer. We miss our friends and especially our church but have found nice neighbors here and a friendly church on the corner.The older I get, the more I think of you all and wonder where all thoes years have gone!!!
