Life
Gosh, it has been so long! Ihave missed being in touch with so many of you. After HS I attended the University of San Francisco. Before graduating, I met and married Dave Hobert from Richmond. We moved from San Fran to Fresno for two years, then went to Phoenix, New Jersey, and Minnesota before moving back to Calif. in 1983. We have been here in Thousand Oaks since. We have three children (21, 19 and 18), have been very involved in youth soccer for the last 12-15 years. We run a youth soccer tournament two weekends in March every year. ...Expand for more
Dave & I are pretty much out of commission for anything else when we do this, but it is great fun, as it is the largest tournament in southern Calif. I am working as a para-educator in special education and love it - never thought I wanted to teach - go figure... I had a major setback when I had a heart attack this March, but I have recovered well and have no damage from it. I was very lucky as it was acted on quickly and only had to stay in the hospital two nights.
