Mary's Story
Life
After high school I worked at Apple for many years while managing local bands, putting on dance events and living in Santa Cruz. I got married in 1997 and divorced in '02. I moved to San Diego with our two children. We were lucky to find a place just walking distance to Balboa Park and San Diego Zoo.SD is such a family friendly town!
I went back to school to finish my B.A. in Graphic Design and started on my teaching credential so I
will finish with a Masters in Education.
In 2005, I took a cruise on a naval aircraft carrier from Oahu, where I picked up a new custom longboard (surf board people ;) from Kyle Bernhardt (class of 87) and have been surfing in P.B. My son (10) are daugher (8) are into boogie boarding, they are not ready...Expand for more
to surf just yet.
In 2006, I took a trip to Tokyo with a good friend and my brother Dave. I highly recommend a trip to Japan!
We are still close to some Homestead-ites =) We spend our 4th of July's with the Larsens,(Kristy, John and his wife Judi)and a bunch of other crazy nuttahs.
I also keep in touch with all my best friends: Darren Cutlip, Dele Peterson, Ahou Tabibzadah, Shana Sturm, Karl Holtz, George Lamphere, you can find us all on my space. I run into many other Homesteaders through friends in SF, SD, etc. There's a lot of classmates I'd love to see after all these years...so if you find yourself in San Diego, get in touch ;) Read carefully and you'll know how to find me. If not, look up my best friends and they'll lead you to me!
