Mary's Story
Life
After graduating from NPHS I attended Phoenix College for 3 semesters and, after realizing that the time for becoming educated was not at hand, married Bruce Robinson in 1967. We moved to San Diego in late '67 where I worked at the Bank of America for 3 years. I quit working at the bank to be a full time Mom when we started having kids.
We moved to New Mexico in 1972 and have been here ever since. We've lived in Albuquerque, Ramah, Grants and Los Lunas. In 1982 I went back to school to work on my Associate Degree at the Grants Branch of NMSU and later transferred to UNM where I finished my BA, MA and finally my Ph.D. in Math Education in 2003. 5 years and full time at UNM Valencia Campus for 18 years, I retired from UNM in July, 2008. I am now teaching math education courses online for Walden University. I also teach math classes onine for UNM and CNM.
My husband and I have been married for 47 years and have 2 grown children--our daughter is happily single and our son and his wife have made us grandparents three times. We now have two beautiful grandsons (born April 2002 and April 2004), and a beautiful granddaughter (born February 2006).
With the abundance of radio stations that play "our kind of music" it would be difficult not to think about our high school years and good friends from another time. I would love to hear from you.
