Mary's Story

[Updates in brackets] Jerry & I have 6 children ages 23g, 21g, 19b, 17b, 15b, and 14b. We are still Homeschooling. [Wow! It has been ten years! The kids are 33, 31, 29, 27, 25, and 24 this year.] Wow... so much has changed in 3 years! Updates on the kids first- My daughters are both married! My eldest is living with her Husband in Monterrey Ca and expecting her first child in Jan 2014. My second daughter is married and living in Wake Forest with her husband- both are attending South Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. My #1 son is working toward his Associates in Applied Sciences Machining/Welding. #2 son is half way through the College & Career Promise Program: Business Admin Certificate at the community college and finishing his senior year of Homeschooling. Sons #3...Expand for more
& #4 are still being Homeschooled. [#1 has 5 children & is in Pittsburgh,#2 has 1 child, #3&4 completed their associates degrees. #3,4,&5 are gainfully employed. #6 is attending UNCW] Jerry retired from the Army in 2011 and we started a journey toward overseas ministry. We are in the final stages of preparing to move to Chiang Mai Thailand to administer the Teachers for Thailand program in partnership with Crossworld. [Went to Thailand from 2014 until Covid] If you thought I was certifiably nuts 3 years ago, then you were right on target! [Still crazy] We are loving every moment of life. God is Good!
