Mary's Story
I have been married to Jack for over 33 years. We have one daughter Jacky. She is married to a wonderful man and they live in Oregon. I have 3 grandchildren-who are the brightest and most beautiful children anyone has ever had. Typical grandma.
In 1990 I got tired of long dark winters in Fairbanks and bought my great grandparents farm in Iowa. Note I did not say I was tired of winters-just the darkness. The farm is really a big park. ide much anymore, but I love watching the horses in the fields and just being around them. I could not live without them. I do tracking with my one dog. Her name is Birdie as she is part German Shorthair and is very birdie. She is also a very talanted tracker. We are trying to become proficient enough to become a "Search and Rescue" team.
I love to go for my daily walk, go to flea markets, garage sales, some horse sales, help at dog shows, do the agility with my dog, garden, especially tomatoes.
I live a very quiet life and I love it. I feel very lucky and content to be able to live like this.
