Mary's Story
Life
i have been married to my high school sweetheart since 1975.we celebrated our 25th last year.we have 3 girls,1 boy and 3 grandsons.let me tell you about our kids and grand children,hahaha mary brixey hey we now have 4 grandsons and one grand daughter.we were blessed with a special child our little grand daughter has downs syndrome any other grandparents out there with a grandchild with this.she is a sweetie!she was one year old july 16th.well,here it is 2005 my husband and i will celebrate our 30th anniversery this june 7th,it's hard to beleive.we have taken over the farm place here.we raise beef cattle,wheat,oats barley,alfalfa.farming is a big gamble but,we love it here and know this is where GOD wants us.and was a wonderful place to raise our 4 kids.in my senior book i wrote my dream,to have 4 children live in a blue house and live down a long lane well all has come true.i also,in 1973 was privilaged to go with my mom to isreal,the holy land,what a great experience that was.in 1979,i found my real blood family we lived 20 miles from each other for all those years both wondering what ever happened to our real family.there were 10 of us kids.we are all doing fine.want to know more i love to share my story of our reunion.
well here it is april 27th soon will be our 30th anniversery where did all those years go!but so thankful in this day and age to be still married to the same great guy,he is loving kind patient all the good qualities in a mate!most of all a christian.not much to new to tell no new grand babies coming yet,just more aches and pains with age.trying to keep this farm in the generation.have lost some family memebers to cancer.on both sides of our family.and waiting for results from stans brother david tests now.very scary time.please email me anyone reading my profile says 42 have looked at it but never have had anyone email me. well stans brother did not survive the cancer pancreatic.he passed away in aug 2005.he had a very peaceful death a...Expand for more
ll alot of family memebers at his side.stans dad has alsheizermers and not doing good at all.stan goes over 4 times a day to help his mom with him such a sad situation.very stressful on my hubby.james is engaged to a lovely girl from akron ohio ironic huh we love her she will graduate from sdsu this may with early elementry ed.loves kids.they will be married in akron ohio in june of 2007.all the rest of our family are doing good.no new grandbabies yet to spoil sad.iris has daycare 10 kids every day 6 in diapers.not for me haha email me tell me about yourself.please someone email me,jan 27 2006.well we are going to be having another wedding next june in akron ohio.my husband has been taking care of his dad for a year so the govt cant take away our land for nursing home care.so its a big change we are tied down all the time pretty much now.well things have really changed for us any one else out there taking care of a parent?my husbands mother passed away suddenly dec 28th we have moved into the farm house now to take care of his dad together.been such a change it needs remodeling but cant do this til his dad passes noises bother him.like the tv radio he cant understand them.so he gets frustrated alot if they are on.so here we are almost 32 years married.no new grandchildren to brag about either sad our youngest ones are 4 1/2 now now that is hard to comprehend!!!!!!!!!!!WE HAVE TAKEN OVER STANS FOLKS PLACE NOW,THEY HAVE BOTH PASSED AWAY IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS.AND WE LIVE IN THEIR HOUSE NOW SO IF ANYONE WANTS TO COME TO S.D. WE HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM WE HAVE THIS HOUSE AND THE ONE WE MOVED OUT OF!!!!!!!MARY BRIXEY ANYONE IS WELCOME WE LIVE 150 MILES NORTH FROM MT RUSHMORE.WELL here it is july 8th 2007 have happy news sad news happy our son is married now and working here for his dad.our youngest grandchildren celebrate their 5th birthdays this month jaylie and derek.sad news my brother in law has lung cancer.had a piece of lung removed.it seems like cancer will get all of us
