Mary's Story
Life
Music has been a big part of my adult life because my son Warren is a musician and a record producer. He has been in the band The Vandals about 18 years and is a co-owner in Kung fu records. At 58 I know way more than your average kid about Punk Rock. He also was with the band Oingo Boingo for their final 3 years. The opening song in the movie School of Rock was written and preformed by him in the movie
My daughter is a Landscape designer and has worked out of her home as The Plant Nerd for over a year. This year she and her husband took a big step and he gave up his job and became her...Expand for more
assistant. They are taking over the designing and greening of many of the Unique homes in the Orange County area in CA. The very best part is that I get to spend 3 days a week with my grand kids Val (3) and Iris (22 months).
I have been a Poker player most of my life and this year I was invited to play in a Satelite tournament at Harrah's in Las Vegas at the end of March. If I would had won I would have had a seat in the "2005 Binions World Series of Poker" in Vegas. As you can see with all the IF'S I didn't win but I was very proud of the opportunity and I did very well. Maybe next year?
