Mary's Story
After graduation and trying BCC for a year I decided to go to Kirkland Beauty School and have been doing hair ever since! Work for myself at Beautiful People Hair Desgign down the street from Sammamish High and it is half barber shop(Larry's Barber Shop) so I see LOTS of old Sammamish grads and their parents!
Met my husband in 1983 at Samena Club where I worked and got married in 1987. We bought a house in Fall City in 1989 and sold that to move back to Bellevue in 2001. Have one son who is going to Odle Middle School where I went and will be going to Sammamish High if we still live in same house which is a yes with the price of homes! YIKES! back in my old stomping ground and my son loves it too!
I have stayed in touch with many people from my past and enjoy a good visit or outing. In my hair business I see and talk to a lot of old grads and their parents! Old friends are good friends and hard to come by.
Life has taken many challenges but with each challenge you learn and grow more for the next one. Has been an interesting last 10 years, but that is for a chat over a drink or coffee...LOL
I am looking forward to helping out with any reunions as I did the 10th and 20th, so drop me a line if you would like to get in touch or any reunion info.
