Mary's Story
Life
After HS I attended UNI, married David Lovitt, moved to California while David was in the Navy in Vietnam and eventually moved to Omaha where we lived for 37 years. In 2007 we retired to just north of San Antonio, Texas in the Hill country. We built a big old Texas Ranch house on a golf course and just relax.
We have 3 children, Aaron born 1971, Amanda born 1983, and Adam born 1986. After 39 years of kids in school the last is now graduated and is an ordained minister. runs it. I then did project management and moved into interenational marketing for new product development. The travel was interesting, saw many places around the world but it got old after a while and I retired in 1991.
I still travel a lot now, but just for pleasure. We travel a lot in our Motor home when the mood strikes us, a lot of trips to Omaha to see kids and grandkids, and we love traveling by Ship also to exotic places. WeI have 3 granddaughters, who are the joy of our lives. I volunteer in various ways at our church, lunch with friends a lot and travel. We have a very full life and are grateful for every day together.
