Mary's Story

Got married my senior year, had 2 boys, got divorced when I was 21. When my youngest son was in kendergarden he was stabbed in the back, getting off the school bus in Manchester (it punctured he's left lung). So I decided it was time to move. Went to Coshocton Ohio where I went to Centeral Ohio Tech. Collage. Studied social work with MRDD, but I always went back to restrurant work. In 1999 my mother...Expand for more
died so I moved back to Manchester to care for my father. In 2001 I remarried moved to Ripley Oh. where I Opened my own rest. called The Freedom Cafe. My father died in 2005, I left my husband and moved to Dragoon Az. (60 miles east of Tuscon). My sons are still in Oh.. I have one grandson who lives in Manchester. Here in Az. I basically got to retire early, so I'm enjoying life and all it's beauty.
