Mary's Story

Life After high school, I married the guy across the street - Maurice Stewart who graduated from Northern in 1969. We were married in 1973. We both attended Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant Michigan. Several years after graduation, we moved to Missouri City, Texas with our 3 children, Maurice Jr, Marlisa, and Monika. Yes, all our names start with M. Our city is located between Houston and Sugarland Texas. A Great area with great schools and beautiful weather! I have been working for Continental airlines since 1988 and will be retiring from there in about 3 years. mani whose name means "guarded peace". Our children are wonderful. Maurice Jr. works for Continental also and Marlisa lives in Longbeach California with her husband and daughter. She is returning to school to work on her doctorate this fall. Our youngest daughter is an actress/model. She currently holds the title of Miss Houston International 2007 and is working on several films to be released in 2007. She attends the University of Houston and is a psychology major. She also plays piano and is classically trained. She can play anything from Elton John to Bach! There are quite a few folks from Flint living in Houston and the surrounding areas. .
