Mary's Story
Thinking back the years----I
got married too young and even questioned myself on my wedding day.Chocked it up to nerves. Have 2 super wonderful sons, so am very blessed. After 24 1/2 yrs.got divorced and met the love of my life,Joe, who also was in 24 1/2 yrs. and divorced.Met in 96' and married 7/99.
school days- wish I had been less shy,reserved and had selfassurance.
Still am at times.
Thoughts --
life's too short- enjoy and savor it.Children grow up too fast-grandchildren are special blessings.
Several times a day tell your love how much you love them and how wonderful life is with them -hugs and kisses are included. What a great high to feel such love. ...Expand for more
Joe, having been in military , his and my son are serving,when we are traveling and see a young military family having dinner we secretly have paid for their meal - it is a great way to say Thank You for serving our country. Support Our Troops in all they do...
I tell my children do what ever you must to be happy. Be honest, think positive,some days it seems far away.Learn different skills as this is not the world it used to be.
Take a day off work and stay home with your love,no phone,no computer,lock the doors,no radio or news info, watch your favorite movie,have some wine, cheese and crackers and enjoy yourselves. Let the world outside
for the day. Try it.
