Mary's Story
Hi, I`ve been a busy gal. Married Richard Gonzales in 1958 in Azusa at ST.Francis Catholic Church. Had 4 children, Rosanne, Roz, Michael, and David. Rich died in 1978. Met my second husband in San Diego Ca. were married in 1983. Moved in 85 to Chico Cal. Where my Daughter Rose was living at the time. We adopted our son Richard in 1989. We loved it there but as life goes he died in 1998. After a few years I decided to move. My eldest son who lives in St. George Utah talked me into moving to Utah. I had visted him and his wife Monica on Christmas and I fell in love with the scenery. I lived with him till I bought a home in Hurricane Utah. Very happy here. Kids visit often. Rose comes more often. I`m doing good. i`m retired and living the good life thanks to my wonderful husbands. So there it is in a nut shell. And how are you? Have had my ups and downs. a minor incident with my heart. I still have one and has heared almost to perfection. My doctor says Im an amazing women and dont I know it. The same year I was diagnosed with breast cancer stage one and two. Needless to say its gone and not coming back. Im doing well health wise and very upbeat. with any luck Ill live to be at least 100, I love life and have no intentions of leaving anytime soon. My son Richard is now living in arizona, close to my granddaughters Heather and Rebekah. Mike is still in St. George with wife Monica, Rose is in Fresno and David lives in Hollywood with his friend James. Considering the fact that we all age everyone in Utah think Im 50ish and I love them to tears. Im a beautiful age of 70 and not ashamed to share it with anyone. All we have to see is Betty Horn Calvert and what a beautiful woman she trully is. Love you Betty.
