Mary's Story
Life
I only attended LHS senior year; my dad was at UW getting his doctorate. I had enough credits from my former high schools to start college, but my mom thought I should have a "senior year".
It was a tough year for me, trying to fit in at the last minute, but I do have good memories of meeting people like Shawna Evenson, Matt Sprinkle, Charlie Brown, Kari Nicholls, and Boyd Lebeda.
I went to college in Wisconsin, drank way too much beer and finally graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1986. While still in college, I worked for a publishing firm based in NYC and after graduation transferred to their office in St. Paul, MN where I met my husband Craig.
We married in 1989 and have lived in Wisconsin, Florida, Iowa, and now back in MN. I continued to work in educational publishing until 1993 when our first daughter Emma was born. She was joined by a sister, Hanna, in 1998.

art-time out of our home doing projects for the educational publishing industry. My 12-yr.-old is involved in cross country, swimming, and nordic and downhill skiing. Yes, Minnesota does have some hills--not mountains :-) She's in 7th grade and loves it! My youngest is eight years old and full of energy. She is small but mighty! She loves swimming, playing the piano, and playing basketball, She is an endless source of questions.
We are active in our church and daughters' school. We enjoy biking, family trips to warmer climates (the winters can get pretty long), and going to favorite local spots like the zoo, Children's Theatre, and Science Museum.
I'd love to hear from anyone who might remember me. I can't remember all my schedules for Senior year, but I do know I took the following classes:
Physics with Mr. Vasek
Journalism with Bob ?
English with Mr. Clements
Pysch with Mr. Bailey
Nurse's Aide training with Mrs. Kennedy
Take care!
