round of golf in about once a week or so. What with 2 retail stores to run, there just aren't enough hours in a day to enjoy everything we want to...Yet! Workplace Since High School, I was always into the Administrative Assistant thing. I became a Secretary for the State of Maryland in 1985 after my kids were born. I left the Admin position when I originally moved to Florida with my Fiance'in 1997. I began working in Human Resources for Eckerd Corporation and that lasted about 2 years. They didn't treat their employees well!.... From there, I went to work for Oreck Corporation as a Store Manager and loved working with customers.....what a great product! Oreck makes a terrific vacuum and the business is continually growing. We relocated with the Company to California. Both my husband and I worked for Oreck...He was a Regional Manager and I was a Store Manager Trainer. After seeing what some of the Store owners were doing with a business of their own, within a year, we decided to relocate back to Florida where we bought our own store. We are loving the business, IT'S GREAT!, September 2004 we opened our second location!!! And we love working for ourselves. There's nothing like it!
