Maryellen's Story
After living my whole life in St.Paul,Ron and I moved to Alexandria, MN eight years ago. We bought a home on Lk Geneva and both work in the Operating Room at the Douglas County Hospital.
We have two grown kids and four, grandchildren. Our son and his wife and sons live in Sartell, MN. Our daughter and her husband and two kids live in Sydney, Australia. It seems when Ron and I aren't working our butts off at the hospital, we are flying over to Sydney to catch up with the grandkids. Four visits so far. Each time we go, we decide we like it more over there and enjoy the more relaxed, family oriented life style. I don't think we will ever move there permanently, though. us. We both ride motorcycles and look forward to getting them out at the end of each Winter. Our dogs drive us crazy, but are good company since we have no other family up this way.
Updated 8/27/10 : Can/t make it to the reunion...work didn't cooperate. I hope it goes well for all and is a grand success! Our Summer has sped by , with not enough time to do all that we'd would have liked to. A new grandchild arrived in March, a beautiful little boy with red hair and blue eyes. He is growing fast.
Got two new Kayaks which we've tried to use each evening. We are showing our age, the speed boat sits in the lift while we paddle around the lake the enjoying the quiet. We do see alot more wildlife this way! Have a wonderful Fall.
