OK...lets try this again.
I still work at United Water which has now become VEOLIA North America, a union job with the UWUA AFL-CIO (Local 375) so I get good benefits, and I've been there for over 17 years. It pays the bills...That being said, I guess that being a Utility Worker is a whole lot better than being unemployed right? ( I did THAT for a while and didn't like it at all! ).

can keep it's thieving hands out the of the Social Security which WE have PAID into all of our working lives, I will have that... I will also have a 20 year Pension with my employment. Theoretically, I will be doing okay.
BUT, I just can't let go of the musician / vocalist in me so I will probably re-open ROADSHOW KARAOKE Entertainment. Yeh, I still play-out occasionally, but a bit of cash on a regular basis never hurt anybody...especially if it pays for a nice vacation for Annette and I every now and then!
