Sandy's Story
I didn't go my senior year because I went to summer school and got senior English after the 11th grade but then graduated with my class in '77. Was already working for a general surgeon, worked for him about 12 years, then worked at Henry Medical Center for about 15. I was a nurse/EMT/medical transcriptionist. Now I work from home doing medical transcription for Emory University Hospital and Crawford Long Hospitals in Atlanta. fter 22 years. I have two grown sons, Kyle and Blake, and Blake is married with two children. My two grandchildren are Lexie and Dylan, 3 and 1 years old. I have a jet ski and a four wheeler and love riding both. I am a Chevy gal, little bit of a motorhead as my daddy, brother, both husbands, and now my son are mechanics. I still live in McDonough, about five miles from the high school, on about 5-1/2 acres. I love to listen to my classic rock cranked up, ride in my truck with my dog (my best buddy), and go to the lake with my jet ski.
