Jim's Story
I pretty much put my story in my timeline and in my picture album. I worked hard and played hard after high school. Seems like everyone got married and/or moved away. Can't find any old friends from school. I found one I was in the military with, he lives in Ohio. Since I went into the Air Force, my family migrated to Kansas City, MO over the years but I live in St. Louis so I don't see them as often as I like. My brother and sister each had two kids and now plenty of grandchildren. My mother has her good days and bad days with her age and health but she's in good spirits. I don't get out of the house much due to my disabilities but when I do I like to go to parks, like Forest Park and take pictures. I love photography. n lucky to have travelled to 13 states which is enough for me. I've been in telecommunications for 20 years but don't like talking on the phone and don't own a cell phone or PDA. I am very good with computers and got in early around 1983/1984 started learning to use them back then and taught myself programs in accounting and databases. From this experience, I've had the opportunity for excellent jobs and made good money and was fortunate never to be laid off. I was very good at automating processes to save time and produce analytical data in understandable formats for senior management. I had a deep loss when I loss Jerry in 2003 due to a heart attack. Then faced my own mortality in 2005. I'm lucky to have a good family and a new good partner, Josh, that I have been with for five years.
