Matt's Story

Life No kids and no wedding. Looking at todays marriages and families, I have to say there hasn't been a big motivation to get started anytime soon, but eventually I believe I will get married. I am in a relationship and have been in it for about 6 years. It's hard to think of marriage, because I'd heard so many stories of things going bad after people do get married. This explanation doesn't always go well with Kim (GF) though, but give it some more time and we'll get the house and start the family and can feel like we're moving forward in life. I deeply regret not doing this earlier, because I understand that a woman feels established in her life when she does finally get married. Until that day, they'll always feel like the brides maid. I work at Valero Refining as a dispatcher right now. I record trucks coming in and out of the refinery and also set up customer orders for the next day. It's a great company to work for and I've very happy with majority of the people that I work with. I also have a business license and sell on Ebay. It's been a great experience and I've have had good luck in doing it. I've been hoping that in the future my gf, when married, will run the home business while allowing her to take care of the kids at the house. That way we'll have a second income and children who get to be with their mother. As of yet, she's working for a travel agency in Chinatown. School School was far tough...Expand for more
er for me then the average person. I not only had trouble academically, but I also suffered severely socially. Maybe, I'll go to the next school reunion and be able to deal with former schoolmates at a different level. I understand my behavior in the past was odd and I can't promise to say that I've completely given up my quirkiness, but I have changed a great deal. I loved and hated my years at school, but I'll always appreciate those who understood me even beyond my odd personality. College My God I tried. I tried and tried and tried, but I could never take off. Unless they hand out some new drug or put in ipods for the brain, I can't remember crap. It's been one of my biggest curses in life and one of my greatest regrets. So, if you think that you've been handed a bad hand in life, just remember that you're not the guy who could forget his own name. (Not really, but it makes for good drama.) Workplace I worked for a company called Creative Computers in the MacMall section. I have to tell you though. If Vultures and Sharks could live in a common environment, that'd be the place. Cutthroat, dirty, and straight out unethical. I'd learned a lot from the Company, but realized in life just what I didn't want to be. A Telemarketer. Military I'd seen some of it on TV, but hell no would I join them. Unless I decided one day to become cannon fodder, I don't think I ever wanted to join the ranks of the suicide squad.
