Matt's Story
Was in the Navy from 1976 thru 1979, got out in San Diego, Ca. Married my girlfriend at the time, who was still in the Navy. We had our firsty child Daniel born in1980, and she got orders to Nea Makri, GREECE. Lived there for 3 years and then to Montana. We had 2 more kids,Jeremy in 1984, and Heather in 1986. (always liked the name of the street near Cap--Heather Court) After 18 years of marriage,she cheated on me with her boss, an officer in the Navy. We got divorced-- she got her man, got kicked out of the Navy, and I got the three kids here in Wisconsin(she had been stationed at Great Lakes Naval Station), so we bought a house near-by in WI. dy, Denise, and we got married. She had 2 boys and her husband had passed away while waiting for a heart transplant. We had 4 boys and and a girl and life was good!! Just this past Nov 28, my beautiful Denise passed from a very short battle with Lung Cancer.(cancer was diagnosed on Oct 28,2011) Now I am single again, and not happy abouty it! If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have NO luck! I do have 5 GREAT KIDS, a daughter in law, 2 almost daughters in law,and a WONDERFUL 5 yr old grand daughter!! My 4 siblings that all went to CAP.,are all still here, just scattered to the wind. From Hawaii to Cal(my sister and Mom are both in the bay area),to Washington State, to North Carolina, and me here in WI.
