Matthew's Story

Life My biggest accomplishment to date (July 11, 2006) is being married 14 years to Rachel and raising our 2 kids, Lindsey 14, and Braden 12. We currently reside just outside Houston Texas and just finished building our new home. Most of you may remember me as a rocker that hung with the wild crowd - those days have changed, oh how time changes you. Since high school I started and sold several businesses including a $45M construction company, $15M staffing services company, and a $3M ATM processing company. I most recently sold my litigation technology company (Franklin Data) to my largest competitor (OnSite E-Discovery) for an undisclosed amount and I now lead their global services to large law firms and corporations including DaimlerChrysler, Intel, Microsoft, and Georgia Pacific to name a few. I just completed a large SEC and Department of Justice investigation of DaimlerChrysler and toured the world 6 times - it was quite a ride in a short 6 months. Workplace BIO/SUMMARY Mr. Blake is an information technology specialist with extensive experience in developing litigation technology solutions. He has concentrated primarily in litigation consulting with an emphasis on electronic discovery and computer forensics. rofile matters and large corporate organizations. EDUCATION Mr. Blake attended Columbia University in New York, NY SELECT CONSULTING EXPERIENCE Mr. Blake most recently was the electronic discovery lead expert on the largest electronic discovery case to hit in 2005/2006. This project involved cooperation between a top 5 automotive manufacturer (the client), the clients’ outside counsel, the Securities Exchange Commission and US Department of Justice stemmed from a formal investigation focused on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). During this project Mr. Blake lead a group of forensic engineers across the globe to collect data, as well as conduct on-going preservation. In the European headquarters, Mr. Blake mobilized an onsite electronic discovery production environment to ensure data and information protection while fully processing hundreds of gigabytes of data per month. Mr. Blake lead the preservation of close to 1 Petabyte (1024 terabytes) of data and the successful processing of over two Terabytes. Through successful and strategic filtering methodologies reviewable data produced less than 10% hits for first-level review. To complicate the solution the client is one of the largest global users of Lotus Notes.
