Matthew's Story
After Springstead, I worked and attended PHCC. I graduated from there still not having a direction in life. In 2003 we were hit by the no-name storm in March of 1993. We repaired the damages and I found an opportunity to travel out west. I lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for four years as I worked at the Olympic Training Center. 1996 Olympics. 1997 I worked at an outdoor wilderness program for adjudicated youth. 1998 I became a professional multi-day whitewater rafting guide. I worked in Moab, Utah where the base was on the Colorado River. This job led me to travel and work in Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Alaska and West Virginia. After ten years of boating professionally I decided to open up my own tour company "Canyon View Tours" That is what I am currently doing today.
