Matthew's Story
Life
I am married and have been to the same wonderful woman since 16 March 1984. We do not have children. LIfe has been a blur. I worked for McDonald's Corp from 1976 to 2004 retiring as a senior operations manager. During my time with McDonald's I served in a variety of positions starting as a management trainee in Philadelphia. We were in Phila for 9.5 years with McD. We were then relocated to Chciago where McD headquarters is. I worked in operations, domestic and international, for about 9.5 years and then oversaw food ...Expand for more
service at the Olympics in 1996. In 1997 we were relocated and retired in the Raleigh area from McD in 2004. I now do consulting work (primarily for McDonald's) and do investing. It's a blast!
Military
I spent 3.5 years on active duty in the Army going in as a 2LT. I continued my military career as a reservist retiring in 1999 at the rank of colonel. I had a variety of assignments from company command to staff in the Pentagon for my last 5 years. It's great to give something back to a country that has been so good to us!
