Matthew's Story

Life I've been living in Toronto, Canada since 1968, with a break of four years in the early nineties when I lived in Boston. I'm married for many years now -- we have no children, but we do have a lovely poodle. I teach ancient Greek and Latin at York University in Toronto. e's published a juvenile biography of the great jazz pianist Oscar Peterson, and she's just finished another biography. I still play classical guitar, but not as much now that I work for a living. Oh, well. I still have an interest in what goes on in the US, though from a distance. Canada isn't perfect, but we like living here. We still keep up with a few old friends in Maryland, and we try to visit from time to time.
