Life The new decade has brought about many changes for me, both in my personal and professional life. After an ugly divorce (are they ever anything but ugly), I found myself at the crossroads. I was unhappy with my career; living life out of a suitcase is not that fun. I was not home with my daughter, Monika as often as I wanted. So, on one summer afternoon, I sat at the computer and decided to write downs "Likes" and "Dislikes". The first thing under dislikes was sitting at the computer. I marched upstairs to Monika's bedroom, found the can of old broken color crayons, a giant notepad. I went downstairs, poured a glass of wine, went outside and sat by the pool and started the list over again. This time I thought outside the box. Under "Likes" I wrote down going to the beach, reading a book and enjoying a nice glass of wine. There were other things but I'm not writing a novel, just a bio. That afternoon changed my life.
