Maureen's Story
My life has been wonderful these last 27 years. I have been married to my husband Larry, who is a wonderful man and with the biggest heart. We have been through so many life altering events. We raised four children, one daughter and three sons. Our oldest, Melissa, is 42 and has a full life with all five of her daughters and one granddaughter. Our son Denny who is 36, is married to a wonderful strong woman of God (they were both youth pastors when they met) and have a beautiful daughter who is 2. Our second son, Chad, would be 35 now. our youngest son, Tom, who will be 34 in July. He has a heart of gold and hopefully my prayers will be answered for him. I had a pulmonary embolism 3 years ago, but by God's grace I am still here. My wonderful husband has had prostate cancer and is a survivor. I tore my right rotator cuff at work and Larry has been there for me helping in any way that he could. What I miss most is driving. The accident happened at work on 9/9/09 and here it is April 2010 and I still can't drive. I may have to have a dye test on my rotator cuff to see if the tendon came loose from the bone because I have two very weak areas. If it did, I will have to undergo another rotator cuff repair, and I surely am not ready for that.
