Maureen's Story

Graduated from Garfield High 1973. I was engaged to Jack B. Earlenbaugh. 1974 we were married at Chapel of Prayer Baptist Church.1975 March 30th (Easter Sunday) I accepted Christ as my saviour. 1977 Jan. 29th we had our first born Tami Jean Earlenbaugh. 1978 second born Jennifer Dawn Earlenbugh. Our family growing we sold the little house. Moved into an apartment for a while in Fairlawn. 1980 moved to Tallmadge, Ohio. 1981 April, 27th lost my baby at 12 weeks. 1983 bought a home in Springfield Township. Pregnant again in 1984. Almost lost the baby, bleeding and ended up in prenatal unit at Akron City Hosp. The Lord wanted us to sell our home to go as Missonary's to the Lighthouse Children's Home in Koscuisko, Ms. Doctor told me I couldn't go because I would loose the baby. I told the doctor if I didn't do what the Lord called me to do then I would loose the baby. So, I left the hospital to get home to pack. I was still bleeding. o leave the next day on the airplane to Miss. The doctor told me to go right to the Gyn Doctor to been seen to be sure the baby survived the flight. Doctor said I was going to loose the baby. My condition was called a placenta previa. Placenta was down at the openning of the cervic.As the baby was growning it was pressing on the placenta and causing it to bleed. The placenta is supposed to be up above not at the openning. Nov.1,1984 got off the plane and meet by Jack and went to the doctor. The doctor said I was not bleeding and there was no indication that I ever did. During my flight to Miss. the Lord moved the placenta back up to where it should have been. This is not possible without the Lords help. Missonary's to the Lighthouse Children's Home for 21 years. Received my Lpn license while there. 2005 Oct. 7 was our last day there and we retired from the Ministry due to Jack's health because of all the stress of the girls. Moved back to Ohio. Nursing at South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland. Bought a home in Springfield Township. Attending Harmony Baptist Church.
