Maureen's Story

I've enjoyed reading other profiles, so I decided to add something to mine. What did I do after high school? I moved around quite a bit. I lived in San Francisco and then in Alaska for several years in a handbuilt log cabin...it was a great adventure. I moved back to Concord in the mid-70s and worked in Oakland. A few years later I moved to Washington State where I currently reside. For five years in the 1990s I worked and lived in Sicily...a treasured experience. What do I like to do? ttend a few games each year. I love to travel and see new places. Most of all, I love to spend time with friends and family, especially my 6-year old grandchild. What did I do with my education? I earned an MBA (after attending colleges in several states!) and had a rewarding career with the federal government until my retirement in 2006. My Mother moved up to live with me and I cared for her until she passed away late last year. I'm taking a breather right now. What brought me to Classmates? I've visited a few times in the past years, but I've spent more time on the site recently as I look forward to our 40th class reunion. I hope to see many of you there.
