Maureen's Story
Life
Still living in Colorado near Boulder in Arvada-remarried in 2005 after 20 years of beind divorced. I have one daughter Mona age 37 and two grandchildren age 2 and 6 months. I work in healthcare as a workplace health and productivity specialist focusing on creating and sustaining a heathly workforce through occupational health and wellness programs offered by Boulder Community Hospital where I work and love the view.
After graduation from High School, I earned a BA from Western in Macomb, an MBA with a focus in healthcare technology management from the Univ of Phoenix on campus program and a PhD in Organizational Management from Capella Univ in Minneapolis.
I still get back to Dixon where I have two brothers-Dick and Jim. At this stage in my life I enjoy living in Color...Expand for more
ado and quality time with my husband and extended family. We are an active bunch and live a full and healthy lifestyle.
School
My biggest crush...that is a difficult one, as looking back I think...I was just trying to be part of the group, have an opportunity to learn about dating, boys, hang out at Memorial Pool or Lake Butler..I tended to head to Mr Quicks a lot to check out the Sterling boys, of which I had some crushes there. At DHS, my first boyfriend, who I went steady with was John Walker. He was a great guy. I also enjoyed going to dance once with Kenny Long..a roaring 20's dance. I went to St. Mary's in grade school, so I tended to stick to that crowd. I am sure I did have a crush on some but at this stage, not sure who they were..I wish I still had a couple year books.
