I really don't know why anyone would remember me except for a few friends and neighbors. I was tall and rather shy in High School and not very confident. I truly have had an interesting life so far, however. I wen to Beauty School at Fullerton JC. I worked a couple of years, married, moved to Fresno, Ca. because we purchased a Taco Bell franchise. Then another. We raised three sons and did a lot of traveling in our motor home. I partnered with a friend and created a restaurant called The Peasantry. Quite a learning experience. I then taught Beauty school for several years until I was asked to manage the salon at JCPenney in Fresno. Did that until retirement after twenty years. I hated retirement and after one year to the day I returned to teaching Cosmetology. Interesting how a simple license which cost me only $35 in 1960 (now in a private school it costs about $20,000!) has always made a nice enjoyable living for me. A couple months ago I was asked to be a consultant/manager for a new salon. I am having the "time of my life".
