Maya's Story
I am at a loss for words... never a problem in conversations, surprisingly.
Guess I'll start with my latest and greatest news... I'm pregnant!!! Expecting a beautiful baby girl May 16th. Our first child (unless you know our story, then, it's our second). She's currently awake and trying to wave hello to you!
Our first baby is an 8 year old Dalmation Princess- Ashe! She goes everywhere with us. It will be fun to see her adjust to the little life we are bringing into this awesome world!
My chosen career path is that of a Graphic Designer, which I should be working on my clients website at the moment, but here I am on Classmates. Always have been an easily distracted soul, guess I like tight deadlines. I currently work at Harvest House Publishers, but have done everything from perfecting models so they look flawless in those magazines or packages you buy (yes, we really are just children of God and you are all beauties) to flying Motor-Cross and ATV stars through the pages of calendars and catalogs you may sitting around the house.
My husband of almost 5 years is going to be the BEST DADDY ever. I really found Mr. Right (yes, they are really out there... with a little patience and intelligence)! J...Expand for more
ohn and I have been together for 8 wonderful years. He's the kind of guy it's hard not to like and get along with. We have both always known that we wanted children. I want lots (I know I am starting late, but I had a lot of school and traveling to get out of the way), he wants a couple. We are also on our way to being foster parents (not because we think it will be easy, or even fun, but because these little people really need some good influence, love and stability, if even for a short period of time in their precious lives.
We have made Eugene, OR our home, even though I had vowed I would live in San Diego, at the beach, for the rest of my life. With time, comes a desire to be close to family. His is here, mine is all over the place. We want to raise our family knowing God, with an innate sense of identity and feeling the warmth of being in a close family.
I believe you have one chance, one lifetime to do what you can to have fun and make a difference. Now is that time, do it now, don't put it off for too long. Laugh, love, share and travel... some of the greatest experiences I've had in my short lifetime.
God Bless each and everyone one of you and thanks for checking in on me!
Smiles-
Maya
