Barbara's Story

I hope my friends remember me as friendly and easy to get along with. I always wanted to be a circus clown when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns out, they were right. I usually take a walk outside to blow off steam. If I were to stay around the thing/person that I was upset with I would probably hurt it/them. Best not to get into a confrontation. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a lot of coffee, low stress level, and air conditioning to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My hero(s) will always be my Grandma and my Uncle Len. Grandma was always there for me and my Uncle taught us many different things, probably the most important thing was forgiveness. I've lived in many different areas of the US of A. Moved around a lot in my later years because thats where the job sent me. I've spent most of the past 20+ in the Nevada area. The two people from my past who I'd most like to see again is my dad, Richard & my Grandma. I really miss them both. I have a real big obsession - PRO FOOTBALL!!!!!! Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect it. The biggest surprise in mine is the way my daughter Jessica feels about me and my youngest daughter Tayler. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the bedrooms and add on another 1000 sq ft. My dream home would be in a town that has 4 seasons. Not just hot and cold. If I won $100 million, I'd give $25 million of it to the Clark County School District (they really need help), then spend th...Expand for more
e rest on a new home in a town that has 4 seasons, and split the rest between my Mom and Dad and all my kids, aunts and uncles. In order for me to be truly happy, as I've already said, I would be living in a nice home in a town that has 4 seasons and around the area of my good friend Charles with my daughter Tayler. We would have a few animals and lots of trees. My best friend would tell you I'm easy to get along with, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a b and stuck up. The weirdest job I've ever had? It wasn't the job, it was the name of the business, Buggy Burger. I share my home with our cat and my 15 year old daughter, which I find very challenging. I received an honorary member plaque from the AFJROTC for all the hard work and support I gave my daughters high school. If I got a do-over for something, I would never have let Charles go. My oldest and dearest friend is Charles. We met when my youngest daughter was only a few months old. We really hit it off, there was something that sparked between the two of us. People at my high school renuion would probably be surprised at how much I've changed. I'm not as wreckless as I was then. My first job was at Dairy Queen where I got paid 2.35 per hour to make the most perfect ice cream cones. What I remember most about it is how much fun I had working there. One of the only childhood memories I have is of my Grandma. I remember she would get a snail out of the garden and let it climb up her arm. YUCK!!
