Life
a whole lot of living, yet it only feels like yesterday, i found myself drawn back to bowie after all these years, my kids go to the same schools i went to, pass old stomping grounds and it takes me back to when i could stomp with the best of them. married and settled down to complaining about those teenagers running around without a care or a brain, and then stopping to realize i was just like that. i miss calling friends 10 times a day for no real reason, running out on the drop of a hat at the mention of a party, at this stage- sleep sometimes is the greatest thing next to silence. my best times now are ...Expand for more
usually the times with the hens, you all know who you are. it`s so rare that friends can still get- together after 20+ years and gab for hours, this is a group of 1977-78 classmates that get-together and tell the stories our parents never heard. My grandchildren make it worth living through those years with my own teenagers, My friends have made the journey alittle less bumpy. I work long hours without much glory, but i go to work none the less. i married young, divorced and then married for life. i don`t run away anymore, i run head-on, and i`m thankful i got all the blessings that come with a hardheaded life.
