Life After College, I spent a year in Shreveport as a copywriter at KMSS tv Fox 33. What a drag! I left and returned home to LA to get an intern at CNN Los Angeles Bureau on Sunset and guess what when it was over the famous Bronco chase happened and I was hired by CNN as a freelance.while there, I applied for the videojournalist position at CNN Atlanta headquarters. I got it and spent two years doing that. At that time I was able to explore the old Atlanta- hanging out at Virginia Highlands to get my favorite cup of coffee at Virginia Highlands cafe, catching a bite at Harry's in a Hurry on Peachtree (& Harry's farmers Market), getting a good book at Oxfords Books!, getting my morning muffin at Ms Fields Cookies Cafe on Paces Ferry Road.I lived off Roswell Road & in Vinnings! and my girls I hung with in Atlanta that graduated from Clark Atlanta.Fastforward: I had a daughter in 1997(in LA-home) So I left that spot and ventured up in the Pacific Northwest to Portland Oregon where my sister lived.
