John McCauley:  

After leaving Hoover High, I joined the Army so I could get the G.I. benefits for college and also to be able to live in Germany. I went through basic training at Fort Knox and became a tank driver in the First Armored Division in Erlangen, Germany. I toured much of Europe while there and even to East Germany to Berlin before the Wall came down. After my tour of duty was over in the Army, I returned home to San Diego where I attended San Diego City College and received my degree in Commercial Art. I moved to L.A. in 1983 where I started working as a firefighter. I worked in Malibu and at the same time attending Pepperdine University for a Business degree. I graduated from Pepperdine in 1989. I married a girl who I met in San Diego in 1983 but divorced in 1996. I then later met and fell in love with the women who is not only my best friend, but my soul mate...( I know....sappy) We have two amazing boys who keep me smiling ...Expand for more
