Meg's Story
After Western, I went to Stephens College in Missouri for a year then worked for a year at WETA-TV. Following that, I went to the Philadelphia College of Art (now Univ. of the Arts). When returning to DC, I worked first as a political photographer for Washington Reporters, then as a graphic designer for a few years until I met my husband at a job interview. :)
We've had our own business (near Baltimore) for 40 years, so I don't have a boss to please. Not millionaires yet, but we have a great life. Still marching to my own drummer. My husband and 2 sons just smile and shake their heads.
I still love to kni...Expand for more
t/crochet and do a lot of that for charity, plus an Etsy page. I'm finally writing the great American novel! Watch for "Murder Most Likely," dedicated to U.S Military members and their families.
The thing that would probably surprise most people from my "past" is that I'm a born-again Christian and politically conservative.
My fondest wish would be to wake up one morning and find that I'm skinny again!!
Thanks to all the folks who have signed my guestbook. Send me a note. (If you remember my brother, Bill Hadley, send him a note too — Class of ‘63. He is retired from United Airlines and lives in Alabama.
